Saudi Game Studio Majestic Mind Games Secures $1.45 Million Co-led by Merak Capital and Impact46

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia-based game development studio Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45 million in a funding round co-led by Merak Capital and Impact46, as the company looks to develop original video games for international markets.

Founded in 2023 by Lujain Albukhari and Majed Anbar, Majestic Mind Games is based in Jeddah and develops original games primarily for PC, with selected titles also being expanded to console and mobile platforms. The studio has also received backing from NEOM.

The company’s core team includes Lead Artist Samaher Bantan and Game Programmer Mohammed Baeshen. Its games are designed to deliver entertainment while encouraging curiosity, creativity and independent thinking.

The latest investment will support the development of new intellectual property and original game titles as Majestic Mind Games seeks to compete in international markets and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position in the global gaming industry.

The investment comes as Saudi Arabia’s gaming ecosystem continues to develop, with local studios increasingly focusing on creating original intellectual property aimed at audiences beyond the domestic market.

Merak Capital said its investment reflects its confidence in Majestic Mind Games’ combination of originality, commercial discipline and long-term execution capabilities.

With the new funding, the Jeddah-based studio plans to accelerate game development and build globally competitive titles, contributing to the growth of Saudi Arabia’s emerging video game development sector.
