Saudi HRtech Platform Squadio Raises $3 Million Pre-Series A to Expand AI-Driven Global Hiring Services

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia-based HRtech platform Squadio has raised $3 million (SAR 11 million) in a Pre-Series A funding round to scale its AI-powered remote hiring solutions across the MENA region, Africa, and Silicon Valley.

The round saw participation from Wa’ed Ventures, 500 Sanabil MENA, Nour Nouf Ventures, SEEDRA Ventures, and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).

Founded in 2019 by Khaled Senawy, Squadio connects companies with vetted global tech talent to build remote-first engineering, design, and product teams. The platform currently features a community of over 55,000 professionals from more than 80 countries and has collaborated with over 450 companies across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and the United States.

Squadio’s clientele includes prominent Saudi organizations such as STC, Elm, Thiqah, Monsha’at, and Nupco, which leverage the platform to accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.

“Squadio is on a mission to bridge the global tech talent gap from Saudi Arabia,” said Khaled Senawy, Founder and CEO of Squadio. “This funding round validates our model and fuels our ability to scale faster while staying true to our vision — helping companies build world-class digital products, regardless of geography.”

The newly raised capital will be used to enhance Squadio’s AI-matching technology, strengthen operational infrastructure, and expand its regional footprint.

Headquartered in Riyadh, Squadio operates satellite offices in Dubai, Alexandria, and California’s Silicon Valley, positioning itself as a cross-border enabler of global-scale engineering teams.

With the rise of remote work and AI-driven recruitment, Squadio aims to redefine how organizations access and manage tech talent — championing a future where innovation transcends borders and Saudi-born platforms lead the global workforce transformation.
