Morocco, October 2024 – Moroccan cross-border logistics startup Colis.ma has successfully raised $300,000 in funding from the Witamax Fund, aiming to strengthen its footprint across Morocco, Europe, and Africa. The newly acquired funds will support Colis.ma’s goal to establish operations in five key regions within Morocco and six major European markets, as well as to fuel expansion into the African continent.
Founded in 2022 by Issam Daraoui, Colis.ma is positioned as the cross-border logistics leader for families and professionals, particularly those involved in handicrafts, cosmetics, and local goods. By bridging Morocco and Europe, the company has become a critical logistics solution for the Europe-Africa trade corridor.
“Our ambition is to become the leading logistics company in Africa and Europe by providing innovative technology solutions to a sector in complete transformation,” stated Issam Daraoui, CEO of Colis.ma.
The recent investment follows Colis.ma’s previous $50,000 funding from The Baobab Network and a $45,000 grant awarded by the Orange Corners program in February 2024. With this strong backing, Colis.ma is well-positioned to lead the cross-border logistics sector, especially in connecting Europe and Africa through reliable, tech-driven solutions.
