Saudi Social Networking Platform “Link” Secures $1.6 Million in Seed Funding Round

August 8, 2024 – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Saudi-based social networking platform “Link” has successfully closed its seed funding round, raising $1.6 million. The funding round was led by Core Vision, alongside prominent Saudi investor Badr Al-Arjani.

Founded in 2020 by Abdullah Al-Othman, Link has quickly made its mark in the digital space, offering an array of services such as text messaging, voice and video calls, and real-time conversation translation. The platform has already garnered a user base of around one million people across 16 countries, according to a company statement.

With this new injection of capital, Link plans to significantly expand its offerings over the next year. The platform aims to introduce new services including food delivery, e-commerce, and payments, positioning itself as a comprehensive solution in the social networking and digital services space.

This strategic expansion aligns with Link’s vision to become a leading player in the global social networking arena, catering to diverse needs beyond just communication.
