Saudi-based Resquad AI Raises $1.5 Million Seed Round to Scale AI-Powered Recruitment Platform

Saudi Arabia-based talent management SaaS provider Resquad AI has raised $1.5 million in a Seed funding round, led by SRG, with participation from a group of angel investors.

Founded in 2024 by Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Jafaari, Resquad AI offers AI-powered technical recruitment solutions through a SaaS platform and a global B2B marketplace for developers, enabling companies to source and hire technical talent beyond geographical boundaries.

The newly secured funding will be used to accelerate technology development, expand the team, and support regional and international growth, with a primary focus on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The company is also preparing for the official launch of its platform, which aims to transform how organizations access and manage technical talent globally.

Resquad AI’s solution is built on a proprietary large language model (LLM) designed specifically for technical hiring. Operating as a digital recruitment marketplace and SaaS platform, it automates key stages of the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate screening, talent matching, pricing, compliance, and payments. According to the company, the platform can reduce hiring timelines by up to 99%, while ensuring secure access to global tech talent.

Commenting on the funding round, Abdullah Al-Jafaari, Founder and CEO of Resquad AI, said the investment will support the company’s vision of building a global recruitment ecosystem driven by innovation and high-impact partnerships across both the public and private sectors, with a strong emphasis on GCC expansion.

Since its launch, Resquad AI has expanded its operational network to more than 52 countries, positioning itself as one of the Saudi-based platforms enabling cross-border recruitment and contributing to the development of a knowledge-based digital economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
